Sponge Fingers image

These are soft and very, very good.

Number Of Ingredients 6

6 eggs
1 ½ cups white sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon anise extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 ½ teaspoons baking powder

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
  • Beat six eggs. Add sugar, oil, and anise flavoring and mix well.
  • Mix in the flour and baking powder. Beat well.
  • Smooth batter into a 10 x 15 inch greased and floured pan. Bake for 25 - 30 minutes. Cool then cut in strips.
