Southern Pecan Pie image

My family begs for this pie at every holiday. Simply delicious

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 cup(s) dark corn syrup
3 - eggs
1 cup(s) sugar
2 tablespoon(s) butter, melted
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
1 1/2 cup(s) pecans
1 - (9 inch) frozen pie crust
1/8 teaspoon(s) salt

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Mix all ingredients gently with wooden spoon
  • Bake on center rack of oven for 65 minutes
  • Cool for 2 hours on a wire rack before serving
