Smoked Salmon Bruschetta image

This variation on bagels, lox and cream cheese can be served as a morning delicacy or for brunch.

Number Of Ingredients 6

4 slice italian bread (1/2- /4-inch thick), sliced diagonally
1 clove garlic, cut in half
4 tsp extra virgin olive oil
8 slice smoked salmon or lox
8 slice white or purple onion
1/4 c softened cream cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Toast bread, rub one side of each slice with the cut side of garlic clove and drizzle with olive oil.
  • 2. Arrange smoked salmon and onion slices on bread and top with a dollop of cream cheese.
