SLOW COOKER HARVEST BEEF STEW image

1/2 cup flour
2 teaspoon meat tenderizer
12 oz. beef stew meat, cubed
2 tablespoons cooking oil
2 (14.5 oz.) cans Beef broth
1 cup water
3 cups potatoes, cubed
1 cup carrots, sliced
2 cups whole kernal corn
2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
1/4 cup steak sauce
2 tablespoons Worchestershire sauce
1 teaspoon finely chopped Garlic
1/4 teaspoon Oregano
1/2 teaspoon Basil
1/2 teaspoon Cilantro
A few drops of Liquid Smoke
8 oz. Noodles (any kind), optional

Steps:

  • Place flour and meat tenderizer in a plastic bag and shake to mix. Add meat, a few pieces at a time, shaking to coat. In a large saucepan or skillet, heat oil. Brown meat and drain. In a slow cooker, layer meat and all other ingredients, mix well. Cook on LOW for 6 hours or until the meat is tender. Optional: Add the noodles at the end and cook until tender.
