Slow Cooker Asian Wings image

A spicy Asian sauce. May be served as an appetizer. NOTE: I serve as they are out of the cooker, but if you want them crisper, line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and pour wings onto it. Broil until crispy, about 5 minutes.

Number Of Ingredients 10

2-3 pound(s) chicken wings (drumette sections)
1/4 cup(s) soy sauce
1/4 cup(s) brown sugar
2 clove(s) garlic, minced
2 teaspoon(s) ground ginger
1 teaspoon(s) red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon(s) ground black pepper
1 tablespoon(s) dried onion flakes
1 tablespoon(s) corrnstarch
1-2 tablespoon(s) sesame seeds, for serving

Steps:

  • Coat the liner of a 3-4 quart slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Place drumettes in slow cooker.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine remaining ingredients, except sesame seeds. Mix well and pour over wings in slow cooker; stir to coat.
  • Cover and cook on low 4-5 hours.
  • Remove to a bowl or platter ans sprinkle with sesame seeds.
