Savory Pecans image

A crunchy savory pecan snack recipe that's ready in just 15 minutes.

Number Of Ingredients 5

2 cups pecan halves
2 medium green onions, chopped (2 tablespoons)
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 300°. Mix all ingredients. Spread pecans in single layer in ungreased jelly roll pan, 15 1/2x10 1/2x1 inch.
  • Bake uncovered about 10 minutes or until pecans are toasted. Serve warm, or cool completely. Store in airtight container at room temperature up to 3 weeks.
