Number Of Ingredients 10

8 oz cream cheese
2 tsp chopped fresh chives
1 pinch dried thyme
1 stick unsalted butter, melted
2 Tbsp freshly grated onion
2 Tbsp grated parmesan - reggiano cheese
2 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 pkg hawaiian bread rolls (12 count)
8 oz black forest ham, thinly sliced
8 oz swiss cheese, thinly sliced

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat over to 350 degrees.
  • 2. In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, chives and thyme. Set aside.
  • 3. In a separate bowl, mix the butter, onions, parmesan cheese and worchester. Set aside somewhere warm so butter does not solidify.
  • 4. Cut rolls in half & divide ham & cheese equally among rolls. On top half of the roll, spread a generous amount of cream cheese - chive mix. Place tops on top of each sandwich bottom.
  • 5. Pour butter mixture over the top of sandwiches cover with foil and bake until cheese is melted, about 20 minutes. Uncover and bake 5 more minutes to brown the buns a bit.
  • 6. Recipe adapted from Food Network show 'Homemade in America with Sunny Anderson.'
