SALSICCIA PASTA SAUCE image

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 pound Italian sausage, hot
1 pound ground beef
1 cup onion -- chopped
4 cloves garlic -- minced
2 cans, 28-oz tomatoes, diced
8 ounces tomato sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons basil

Steps:

  • Saute sausage and hamburger, separately; drain. Remove from pan. Saute onion and garlic in olive oil. Add meat and other ingredients. Simmer 45 minutes. Serve on penne or spaghetti.
