Rice Pudding, 1,2,3,4. image

I always had a hard time remembering how to make rice pudding, which my family loved, so one day I made up this recipe, something I could always remember,and whip it up any evening after dinner.

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 cup(s) sugar
2 cup(s) cooked rice
3 cup(s) milk, whole
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
1 pinch(es) salt
1 pinch(es) cinnamon, ground
1/2 cup(s) raisins (optional)

Steps:

  • Mix all aforesaid together,pour into well buttered 2 1/2 quart glass mixing bowl. Place bowl in a pan of water about 2 inches deep and bake at 350 until knife inserted in center comes out clean, about 1 hour.
