Pink Party Salad image

A great salad for Valentine's Day and so easy to make!

Categories     Fruit Salads

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 can(s) #2 crushed pineapple (save juice)
1 package(s) strawberry gelatin
12 large marshmallows
1 pint(s) small curd cottage cheese
1/2 cup(s) pecans, chopped
1 cup(s) whipped cream

Steps:

  • Heat pineapple juice and enough water to make 2 cups liquid to simmering. Dissolve gelatin in hot liquid; add marshmallows and stir until melted. Cool until mixture starts to thicken; add pineapple. cottage cheese and pecans. Fold in whipped cream. Pour into 2 qt. dish. Chill until firm.
  • This is a nice, refreshing salad!
