PEEPS® Tombstone Cupcakes image

Bake up these spooky sweet Halloween cupcakes topped with a PEEPS® marshmallow.

1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ devil's food cake mix
Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
1 container Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy chocolate frosting
1 cup finely crushed creme-filled chocolate sandwich cookies (8 cookies)
24 PEEPS® brand marshmallow tombstones

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F. Place paper baking cup in each of 24 regular-size muffin cups. Make cake batter as directed on box. Divide batter evenly among muffin cups. Bake as directed on box for cupcakes. Cool in pans 10 minutes; remove from pans to cooling racks. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.
  • Frost cupcakes with chocolate frosting. Sprinkle cookie crumbs on large plate. Carefully dip cupcake tops into crumbs to look like dirt. Place PEEPS® marshmallow tombstone on top of each cupcake.
