Pasta e Fagioli image

I got this out of my power bill, they have a POWER RECIPE each month. This one is by T. Morton of Attalla Al. It is so good, great with some bread sticks

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 box hamburger helper, italian shells & cheese
1 1/2 lb ground round or ground beef
1 small onion , diced
1 can(s) diced tomatoes w/ basil, garlic, & oregano
1 can(s) great northern beans
4 c water

Steps:

  • 1. Brown meat and onions in large pot. Drain when done and return back to pot. Add, water, shells, season packet( from hamburger helper),tomatoes and beans.
  • 2. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat and cook until shells are tender and sauce thickens.If you want the sauce thinner just add more water
