This spicy, crispy and flaky fried fish was a hit at my dinner table! I served it on a bed of rice, a twist of lemon and a side of seasoned broccoli. 1/3 c all-purpose flour
1/4 c milk
1/3 c Panko bread crumbs
1/3 c grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp crushed red pepper
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 tsp salt
2-4 mahi mahi (or other white fish) fillets
3 Tbsp butter

Steps:

  • 1. Prepare 3 shallow bowls: in the first put the flour.
  • 2. In the second, put the milk.
  • 3. Combine the bread crumbs, Parmesan, crushed red pepper, pepper, and salt in the third bowl.
  • 4. Coat the fillets with the flour, then the milk, and then the bread crumbs-Parmesan mixture.
  • 5. Press the mixture into the fish.
  • 6. Melt the butter in a skillet, and sauté fillets until golden brown and flesh flakes easily.
