Number Of Ingredients 10

CASSEROLE
14 oz frozen chopped broccoli (or you can use cooked broccoli florets)
1 c milk
8 oz velvetta cheese
1 Tbsp butter and margarine
1/4 tsp pepper to taste
1 long sleeve of ritz crackers loosely coarsely crushed
TOPPING
1-2 Tbsp melted butter or margarine
15 ritz crackers or more if you'd like

Steps:

  • 1. In a large saucepan, cook the broccoli according to package directions; drain. Stir in the milk, cheese, butter and pepper. Cook over medium-low heat until cheese is melted, stirring often. Add the sleeve of crumbled crackers and stir to blend. Pour mixture into an 11×7-inch baking dish.
  • 2. In a small bowl, melt butter in microwave; stir in the crumbled crackers. Sprinkle over top of broccoli mixture. Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 to 20 minutes or until bubbly.
