ORANGE FRUIT BARS image

everyone loves my fruit bars=and so easy to make too....very good

Categories     Cookies

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 CUPS cup(s) flour
1 tsp - baking soda
1 cup - sugar
pinch - salt
3/4 cup - butter
1 cup - candied fruit
2 cups - 1 minute quick oatmeal
1 cup - whole milk
1/2 cup - orange juice

Steps:

  • Mixed all together=and greased flour cake pan==and put in 350 oven for about 50 minutes=just till done and knife comes out clean.....Lightly browned,on top dont burn it...
  • When cool===dizzles 1/2 cup 10 x sugar,,,,,,and 3 tablespoon of orange juice on top of the bars, and then cut in slices...and enjoy can be frozen if it gets that far.... recipe of syl oliver........................
