ONE BOWL DEVIL'S FOOD CAKE image

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 Egg
1/4 Cup Shortening
1 Cup Sugar
1/4 Cup Sour Milk
1 tsp. Soda
1 tsp. Vanilla
2 TBSP. Cocoa dissolved in very little hot water
1 Cup Unsifted flour
1 tsp. Salt
1/2 Cup Boiling Water

Steps:

  • Add all ingredients in bowl in order given. beat well. Pour into greased 8 inch square pan. Bake 375 for 30-35 minutes.
