Oatmeal Lace Cookies image

I got this recipe from my friend, Caroline. She was on the Kids Baking Championship and made these cookies on the show! They are really easy and super impressive!

Number Of Ingredients 9

1/2 c unsalted butter, softened
1 c granulated sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 c oatmeal
2 heaping tablespoons all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
powdered sugar, for dusting

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Mix everything together using a hand mixer until combined.
  • 2. Put in freezer for 10 minutes.
  • 3. Scoop portions of dough, using a cookie scoop, onto a parchment-lined cookie sheet. (6 cookies per sheet)
  • 4. Bake until golden brown, about 7 minutes.
  • 5. Let cool completely and peel of parchment. Dust with powdered sugar and eat!
