Number Of Ingredients 11

1 tablespoon(s) brewer's yeast
1 tablespoon(s) sugar
1/2 cup(s) warm water
1 pinch(es) salt
1 teaspoon(s) olive oil
1/2 cup(s) marinara sauce
1/4 cup(s) thin sliced green bell pepper
1/4 cup(s) thin sliced red or white onion
1/4 cup(s) cooked italian sausage
1 cup(s) mixed cheeses (i use grated parm/cheddar and fontina)
1 1/2 cup(s) all purpose flour

Steps:

  • In large mixing bowl combine yeast and sugar and warm water. Let sit for 3 minutes then add olive oil and flour and mix to form dough. Cover lightly with towel and set aside.
  • Thin chop vegetables and grate cheeses. Remove dough from bowl and shape on baking stone or pizza pan into 12-14 inch circle. Stretch dough thin for a crisper crust.
  • Top dough circle with marinara sauce/veggies and meat then top this with cheeses. Can sprinkle a dash of garic/basil or oregano on top for extra flavor. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees. Crust will rise and cheese will bubble and turn golden. Enjoy!
