This is for all, like myself, who don't use any kind of alcohol, but want the flavor in some of our recipes. And, NO, it doesn't always cook off; only if you flame it. And that only takes it down to 75%. Baking or simmering 15 min takes it down to 40%; baking or simmering 2 hours 30 minutes takes it down to 5%. This is according to the US Dept of Agriculture. Cooking times are approximate, according to recipe.

Steps:
- When adding to sauces or stews, if the recipe calls for a dark colored wine, use either purple or red grape juice and 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of Red Wine Vinegar, depending how much "wine" is calls for. Usually 1/2 to 1 cup of "wine".
- When it calls for white wine, use the White Grape Juice and the same amount of White Wine Vinegar.
- The flavor will be very similar to using wines, but without the alcohol.
