One day when I was getting ready to make my husband his favorite chocolate chip cookies a girlfriend asked if I could make her some without chocolate chips, since she doesn't like chocolate. I suggested white chocolate chip cookies and she said they aren't vanilla enough for her and they don't stay soft and gooey like a...

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 stick margarine ( i prefer parkay or imperial, but makes these spread too much)
3/4 c granulated sugar
3/4 c light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/4 c flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 pkg vanilla pudding, or pudding flavor of your choice

Steps:

  • 1. Cream together margarine, sugars, and eggs. Add 1 1/2 cup flour, pudding mix ,salt and baking soda and stir well. Then add last 3/4 cup flour, stir until combined.
  • 2. Bake at 375 degrees for 5-7 minutes. Cool on baking sheet 2 minutes; remove to wire rack to cool completely.
  • 3. Make sure not to over bake. They will become crispy.
