NEVER FAIL PIE CRUST image

5 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp baking powder
3 tsp brown sugar
2 ½ cups (1 pound) shortening
¾ cup cold water
1 tsp vinegar
1 egg slightly beaten

Steps:

  • Sift together flour, salt, baking powder and brown sugar. Mix shortening with flour mixture. Add water, vinegar and egg. Mix well. Divide into 5 or 6 balls and place in freezer bags. Place in freezer.
