Steps:
- Brown meat; drain. Add green pepper and onion; cook until tender. Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, water and seasonings. Layer half of pasta, meat sauce and 6 cheese slices in a 2 L (11¼ x 7½ inch) oblong baking dish. Repeat layers of pasta and meat sauce. Bake at 180º C (350º F), 30 minutes. Top with remaining 6 cheese slices; sprinkle with grated cheese. Continue baking until cheese is melted. 6 to 8 servings. Note: 500 Ml (2 cups) dry pasta will yield about 1 L (4 cups) cooked.
