Steps:
- Brown ground beef. Add onion, tomato sauce, ketchup, parmesan cheese, fennel and oregano. Stir to blend. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover and cook 20 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Slice hard rolls. Spread butter on top halves. Divide meat mixture among bottom halves. Top with cheese and wrap each sandwich in aluminum foil.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
