Milk Chocolate Bundt Cake image

Doesn't need frosting

Number Of Ingredients 12

1 - 7oz milk chocolate candy bar..broken into pieces
1/2 cup(s) chocolate syrup
1 cup(s) butter..room temperature
1 1/2 cup(s) sugar
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
2 3/4 cup(s) flour
3/4 teaspoon(s) baking powder
1/2 teaspoon(s) baking soda
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
1 cup(s) buttermilk
- confectioners sugar..optional

Steps:

  • Preheat oven 350 degrees In a heavy saucepan OR in a microwave,melt candy bar with the chocolate syrup;stir until smooth.Set aside to cool (I LIKE THE MICROWAVE)
  • In a large mixing bowl,cream butter & sugar.Add eggs,one at a time,beating well after each addition. Stir in chocolate mixture & vanilla.
  • Combine flour,B.powder,B.soda,& salt. Add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk.
  • Pour into a greased & floured 10" fluted bundt pan. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven. 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.....Cool in pan on a wire rack 15 minutes.Remove from pan & cool completely. Dust with Confectioners sugar,if desired
