1 cup margarine
1 cup brown sugar
3 eggs, well beaten
3 cups plain flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
7 cups pecans
1/2 cup milk
3/4 lb white seedless raisin
6 slices crystallized pineapple (2 red, 2 green 2, yellow)
2 cups dates, chopped
2 cups cherries (1 red, 1 green)

Steps:

  • Cream butter and sugar.
  • Add eggs, flour, soda and cinnamon.
  • Add milk then fruit mixture and nuts.
  • Drop tea- spoonful on greased cookie sheet. Bake 5 minutes at 300 degrees.
  • Makes more than a hundred.
