Marinade for chicken or pork image

my family loves this simple marinade and requests it often. Mostly we use it on kabobs but I have marinaded chicken pieces(bone it, cut up) in this, then grilled it for a delicious entre'. Served it with a rice dish. Yum!

Number Of Ingredients 8

1/2 cup(s) white wine
1/2 cup(s) olive oil
2 teaspoon(s) lemon juice
4 - bay leaves
2 teaspoon(s) oregano, dried
1/4 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
- salt and pepper
1/2 - thinly sliced onion

Steps:

  • pour olive oil, white wine and lemon juice into a bowl. Stir in thinly sliced onion. Break the bayleaves into small pieces and add to liquid, along with all remaining ingredients. I put my meat into a zippered bag and pour the marindade over it
  • You should marinade your meat for 12-24 hours for best results.
