You can truly fool your guests with this delicious and easy lamb chop recipe. The chops are moist and tender. We love the crunchy texture the seasoning adds. They are a bit salty but the mint jelly cuts it with some sweetness. If you're watching your salt intake, try using garlic powder instead of garlic salt.

Time 50m

Number Of Ingredients 3

6 thick-cut lamb chops
1 Tbsp lemon pepper
1 Tbsp garlic salt

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 425 F. Mix lemon pepper with garlic salt in a Ziploc baggie (gallon size).
  • 2. Place 1 chop at a time in the bag and shake until coated with seasonings. Do this until all 6 lamb chops are covered. If you need to add some more garlic salt and lemon pepper to the bag, be sure you keep them in equal amounts.
  • 3. Place coated lamb chops on a cookie sheet rubbed with olive oil. Arrange with some room between each chop.
  • 4. Bake at 425 for approximately 40 minutes for thick chops.
  • 5. Remove from oven and serve. Recommended - mint jelly or mint sauce (see my recipe for this) to go with lamb.
