Jalapeno Popper Dip image

This is a recipe that was posted by Denise Ramsey on allrecipes.com. I tweaked it a bit. Can be served with tortilla scoops or anything you prefer. Enjoy!

2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup mayonnaise
1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chilies, drained
2 ounces jalapeno peppers, in a can and drained
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup breadcrumbs

Steps:

  • Stir together cream cheese and mayonnaise in a large bowl until smooth. Stir in green chiles and jalapeno peppers.
  • Pour mixture into a microwave safe serving dish, and sprinkle with cheddar cheese and bread crumbs.
  • Spray a couple of sprays of PAM oil spray to help with crispness.
  • Microwave on High until hot, about 3 minutes.
  • NOTE: Can also be baked in the oven at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
