Iced Green Tea With Cucumber image

The nuanced flavor of green tea is best served simply chilled rather than with ice.

Yield Makes about 1 1/2 cups

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 1/2 cups boiling water
4 teaspoons loose green tea (or 4 tea bags)
2 tablespoons borage
5 slices (1/4 inch each) peeled cucumber
Borage and unpeeled cucumber slices, for garnish

Steps:

  • Pour water over tea and borage. Steep for 3 minutes. Strain. Add peeled cucumber slices, and refrigerate. Remove cucumber, and add garnish.
