Hot Apple Tea image

I'm not a big tea drinker, but I love this tea. It is a great tea for the fall and winter. Recipe is from Woman's Day.

Number Of Ingredients 5

3 cups apple cider
1/4 cup sugar
2 cinnamon sticks (each about 3-inches long)
2 inches piece fresh ginger, peeled and thinly sliced
4 tea bags (regular or decaffeinated)

Steps:

  • Bring cider, sugar, cinnamon and ginger to boil in a medium saucepan.
  • Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Add tea bags, cover and let steep 5 minutes.
  • Strain; serve hot.
