HOMEMADE BASIL OIL image

There's nothing quite like homemade pizza made on your homemade pizza oven and home grown vegetables on the pizza . And then there's HOMEMADE BASIL OIL for the pizza dough. Pizza Party anyone.

Number Of Ingredients 3

1 bunch(es) fresh basil
1/2 pint(s) olive oil, extra virgin
1 clove(s) garlic

Steps:

  • Tear your basil with your hands don't cut, mince garlic and put into 1/2 pint jar. pour in the olive oil.
  • Seal tightly and shake. store in a cool dark place for 10 days shake every third day.
  • After 10 days strain and bottle into smaller jars put 1 fresh basil leaf in each jar.
  • Store for 2 more weeks before using for full flavor.
