Grilled Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwiches image

Five ingredients and 15 minutes are all you need to make these delicious peanut butter and banana sandwiches - perfect for dinner.

8 slices English muffin bread
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 medium bananas
3 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened

Steps:

  • Spread 4 slices of bread with peanut butter. Slice bananas; arrange on peanut butter. Top with remaining slices of bread to make 4 sandwiches. Spread top bread slice of each sandwich with about 1 teaspoon butter.
  • Place sandwiches, butter sides down, in skillet. Spread top bread slices with remaining butter. Cook uncovered over medium heat about 4 minutes or until bottoms are golden brown. Turn; cook 2 to 3 minutes longer or until bottoms are golden brown and peanut butter is melted.
