GRILLED BALSAMIC AND SOY FLANK STEAK image

1/2 onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, chopped
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp. Dijon mustard
2-3 tbsp. chopped fresh rosemary
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. frshly ground pepper
1 1/2 lbs. flank steak

Steps:

  • Combine first 9 ingredients in a mixing bowl using wire whisk or immersion blender until well combined. Place meat in large casserole-style dish. Marinate for a miminum of 30 minutes, up to 2 days. Prepare grill. Place flank steak on grill directly over hot coals. Brush with extra marinade. Grill until desired doneness, about 6-8 minutes each side for medium-rare. Transfer to serving plate. Slice thinly to serve.
