Greek-Style Seasoned Chicken image

I just love this seasoning and so I tried it on chicken breast. I originally planed on putting it on the barbecue, but it was raining so hard outside that I pan fried it.

Number Of Ingredients 13

2 - chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
1/2 cup(s) olive oil
1 tablespoon(s) minced garlic
1 to 2 tablespoon(s) greek style seasoning
2 tablespoon(s) butter
GREEK STYLE SEASONING
2 tablespoon(s) dried oregano
1 tablespoon(s) dried rosemary
1 tablespoon(s) dried onion
2 teaspoon(s) granulated garlic
1 teaspoon(s) ground fennel seeds
1/2 tablespoon(s) pepper
1 tablespoon(s) salt

Steps:

  • Remove any fat from chicken breast and cut each breast into two strips.
  • In a large zip lock bag, add oil, seasoning and garlic. Mix and put in chicken breast strips. Marinate for 1 hour.
  • In a medium skillet, add butter and then add the marinated chicken to butter and cook (covered) for approx 20 minutes, turning once. Test chicken to see if done (180 degrees) Remove from pan and serve with a vegetable and rice. I would recommend a yogurt type sauce, but I didn't make one at this time. Greek Style Seasoning: Add all ingredients to a small blender and mix well. Put into a glass container with a lid.
