GRANDMA'S APPLE CRISP image

6-8 Apples pealed and cut into slices
1 t cinnamon
1/2 cup water
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup butter
cinnamon to sprinkle

Steps:

  • Put apples in a buttered casserole adding 1 t cinnamon and water. Work the sugar, flour, and butter until crumbly. Spread over apples and sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 400 for an hour. When it bubbles and you can smell it, it is done.
