Steps:
- - Combine sugar, milk, 1/2 cup butter, vanilla, and egg yolks, in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until bubbly. - Stir in Coconut, and pecans, and let cool to room temp. - Reserve 1 1/4 cup of mixture. - Combine cake mix, remaining butter, and remaining coconut mixture. Stir until moistened. - Shape dough into 1 inch balls, place on baking sheet 2 inches apart. - Make indentation in top of each cookie and fill with 1/2 teaspoon of cocnut mixture. - Bake 350* 10-13 minutes.
