Furr's Light Green Jello Salad image

Number Of Ingredients 7

12 ounces Lime Gelatin
20 ounces Crushed pineapple, Canned, Crushed
16 ounces Small curd cottage cheese
1/4 cup Finely crushed pecans
8 ounces Cool Whip
2 cups Boiling Water
1 cup Cold Water

Steps:

  • In large mixing bowl empty gelatin.
  • Add two cups of boiling water and stir until dissolved.
  • Pour 1 cup cold water into mixture and blend.
  • Add drained crushed pineapple, cottage cheese, and whipped topping. Stir mixture until whipped topping is smooth and blended, there should be no large lumps of topping.
  • Pour into 9" x 13" pan and sprinkle with nuts on top, chill until set.
