FRUIT CRISP WITH OAT CRUMBLE CRUST image

Number Of Ingredients 10

6 cups apples, peeled & sliced or any combination of these fruits: berries, rhubarb, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, pears, peaches, or apricots
1/3 cup sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. grated lemon zest
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Oat Crust:
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
2/3 cup rolled oats

Steps:

  • To Make Crisp: Place prepared fruit in a 2-quart baking dish. Combine sugar, flour, lemon zest and cinnamon. Add to fruit and toss to coat. To Make Crust: Mix crust ingredients with a pastry blender until crumbly. Sprinkle over fruit mixture. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes unitl crisp is bubbling.
