Frosty Strawberry Shortcake image

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 pint strawberries, crushed
6 sponge cakes, individual shells
1 package , vanilla frozen dessert mix
light cream
2 tablespoons Curaçao liqueur
sugar

Steps:

  • Prepare frozen dessert mix as directed on the package, using cream instead of milk. Beat in curaçao. Pour into refrigerator tray and freeze until firm. Turn ice cream out into a chilled bowl and beat with a rotary beater until smooth. Return to tray and freeze until firm enough to serve. Spoon into cake shells and top with sugared crushed strawberries.
