Fireman Bob's Pineapple Barbecue Sauce, my way... image

It's summer time, and I believe this is a great recipe to start my new beginning... Hope You enjoy......

Number Of Ingredients 20

3 can(s) tomato sauce - 8 ounce cans
4 tablespoon(s) brown sugar - firmly packed
1 tablespoon(s) white sugar
1/2 cup(s) pineapple - chopped and diced small
1/2 cup(s) pineapple juice
2 tablespoon(s) fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup(s) lemon zest
1/2 cup(s) water
2 tablespoon(s) molasses
1 teaspoon(s) red pepper flakes - crushed - or to taste
1 teaspoon(s) celery seeds - ground
1 teaspoon(s) cumin - ground
4 tablespoon(s) worcestershire sauce
3 teaspoon(s) mustard - grainy
1 tablespoon(s) horse radish
6 large garlic cloves - minced
2 teaspoon(s) fresh oregano - diced and chopped
1 1/2 teaspoon(s) red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon(s) black pepper - fresh ground - or to taste
1/2 teaspoon(s) course sea salt - or to taste

Steps:

  • Directions In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients. Slowly bring to a boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly, then simmer for 20 minutes, watching and stirring every 2 minutes till done. ENJOY !!!
