1 box(es) (18 oz) white cake mix
1 package(s) (3oz) strawberry jello
1 cup(s) strawberries, mashed
1 cup(s) canola oil
1/2 cup(s) whole milk
4 large eggs at room temperature
FROSTING
8 ounce(s) package of cream cheese at room temp
1/2 cup(s) butter
5-6 cup(s) powdered sugar
2 tablespoon(s) cool whip, thawed
1/4 cup(s) or more, strawberries, chopped fine

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray 13x9 pan with baking spray.
Place cake mix, jello, strawberries, oil, milk and eggs in mixing bowl. Mix three minutes, stopping to scrape down sides of the bowl.
Bake 28 to 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely. If using 2-9 inch round pans, bake for 28-31 minutes; 8 inch pans 30-33 minutes.
For the Frosting: Mix cream cheese and butter until smooth. Sift sugar and add one cup at a time. Add strawberries and cool whip and mix thoroughly.
