Elaine's Recipe for Creamy Southern Cornbread image

My friend from the South just shared this recipe with me. It sounds delicious!

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 cup(s) cornmeal
3 tablespoon(s) baking powder
1/4 teaspoon(s) baking soda
4 - eggs
1 cup(s) oil
1 cup(s) sour cream
1 can(s) cream style corn
1/2 cup(s) light brown or white sugar

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  • Combine all ingredients
  • Pour into 9" x 13" greased pan
  • Bake in 400 degree oven for 25 minutes
  • Enjoy!
