Easy Breezy Beefy Cheesy Meatball Subs! image

This recipe knocked it out of the park with my kids and it's a favorite for guests as well!

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 lb ground beef
1 Tbsp italian seasoning
2 eggs
1/2 c italian bread crumbs
1 pkg sharp cheddar cheese cubed small
2 dash(es) salt and pepper
1 Tbsp garlic powder
1 jar(s) your favorite spaghetti sauce
1 pkg hoagie rolls

Steps:

  • 1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, italian seasoning, eggs, bread crumbs, salt and pepper, and garlic powder. Mash with your hands until all ingredients are mixed thoroughly together.
  • 2. Take out a meatball sized portion from the bowl and flatten into a small pattie, place one small cube of cheese in the middle of the pattie and then roll up the meat around it until the meat resembles a ball.
  • 3. Continue this process until all the meat is made into meatballs. Fry in a pan until completely cooked, drain and place desired amount of meatballs on each hoagie roll.
  • 4. Spoon spaghetti sauce over the meatballs and serve with chips or your favorite side!
