Steps:
- Sprinkle chicken with salt & pepper.
- Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken; brown on all sides. Remove to platter.
- Combine wine, parsley, vermouth, basil, oregano & red pepper flakes in a large bowl. Add garlic & celery; coat well.
- Transfer garlic & celery to crock pot. Add chicken to remaining herb mixture; coat well. Place chicken on top of celery mixture. Stir.
- Sprinkle lemon juice & peel over chicken. Cover; cook on LOW 6 hours.
