CRANBERRY MOLD image

This recipe graces our table for Thanksgiving and Christmas, and New Years....

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 1/4 ounce(s) gelatin, unflavored
1/2 cup(s) water, cold
1/2 cup(s) water, cold
1 14 ounce(s) canned, whole cranberry sauce
1 14 ounce(s) crushed pineapple, drained
1 cup(s) sour cream
1/3 cup(s) icing sugar/powdered sugar

Steps:

  • Sprinkle the gelatin over the first amount of water in a small saucepan...Let stand 1 minute...Heat and stir until dissolved...
  • Add: the second amount of water....Pour into a medium bowl... Stir in the remaining ingredients...Chill, stirring and scraping down sides often, until it shows signs of thickening....
  • Pour into a 6 cup mold...and Chill....This serves 8 - 10
