Cottage Cheese Fudge Cookies image

Passed down through my husband's family enjoy! Even if you don't like cottage cheese you will love the fudge in these.

Number Of Ingredients 11

2/3 c butter or margarine
1 2/3 c sugar
1 c cottage cheese, small curd
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 1/4 c flour
3/4 c cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 c nuts
1 c powdered sugar

Steps:

  • 1. Put butter, cheese, and eggs in bowl and mix well. Stir together flour, cocoa, baking powder, soda and nuts. Add to other mixture and stir. Chill for one hour. Form dough in one inch balls. Roll each in powdered sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake in 350 degree oven until firm, about 12 min. Cool on rack and it may be frozen.
