Number Of Ingredients 7

2 pound(s) collard greens, frozen
4 cup(s) water
1 large onion, roughly chopped
1 pound(s) ham hocks, smoked
1 teaspoon(s) salt and pepper
2 tablespoon(s) sugar
2 teaspoon(s) apple cider vinegar

Steps:

  • Bring water & ham hocks to a boil.
  • Add remaining ingredients. Cover & simmer until greens are tender; about 10 - 15 minutes. Check water level as greens cook & add more if needed.
