1 stalk green onion (cut 2 inches long)
1 tablespoon Ginger (sliced)
200 mL coca cola
2 tablespoons light soy sauce
1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
1 tablespoon Chinese rice wine
1 tablespoon peanut oil

Steps:

  • Heat up your pressure cooker using the Sauté function Make sure your pot is as hot as it can be by waiting until indicator says "hot"

  • Add the chicken wings into the pot and stir fry them together with the garlic, ginger slices and green onions for roughly one to two minutes.
  • When the edges of the chicken skin starts to brown, pour in the coca cola and fully deglaze the bottom of the pot with a wooden spoon. Add in 2 tablespoons of light soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of dark soy sauce, and 1 tablespoon of Chinese rice wine. Mix well.
  • Close lid and pressure cook at High Pressure for 5 minutes (Electric or Stovetop pressure cookers). Turn off the heat and fully Natural Release (roughly 10 minutes).
