CHOCOLATE-WALNUT TART image

1 refrigerated pie crust
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
3/4 cup dark corn syrup
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees. Roll crust into 9" tart pan. Fold overhang in and press against side of pan to make crust. Sprinkle the chocolate chips and chopped walnuts evenly over bottom of crust. Microwave butter in 4-cup glass measure, covered, for 40 seconds. Beat in brown sugar, corn syrup, eggs and vanilla until smooth. Pour evenly into crust. Bake in the lower third of oven for 45 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
