Chocolate Oatmeal Cake image

i made a first chocolate cake recipe,it filled with rolled oats and it's fat free.

2 dark chocolate bars,chopped
1 package german chocolate cake mix
1 1/2 c almond milk
3 egg whites
3/4 c canola oil
1 (3.5 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
1 c quick cooking rolled oats
LITE MAPLE FROSTING
1 container light whipped topping
1/2 c almond milk
2 pkg light cream cheese,softened
3/4 c plain greek yogurt
3/4 c light maple syrup

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.Lightly grease a 13x9 inch baking pan.Sprinkle with dark chocolate pieces.
  • 2. In a large bowl,combine cake mix,almond milk,egg whites,canola oil and pudding mix with an electric mixer,at low speed for 5 minutes until moistened.
  • 3. Add rolled oats.Beat again for 3 minutes on high speed.Pour into a prepared baking pan.
  • 4. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes,or until a toothpick inserted the center comes out clean.Cool completely.
  • 5. To make Lite Maple Frosting:in a medium bowl,combine whipped topping,almond milk,cream cheese,greek yogurt and maple syrup,whisk together until smooth.
  • 6. Spread the frosting into a cooled cake.
